Provide Alternative To Incarceration (ATI ) plans to criminal defense attorneys for clients in the justice system facing incarceration
How We Do It
- Assign professionals highly qualified by experience and education to collect pre-sentence information; have assessments made by a forensic psychologist when needed; formulate individualized ATI plans; and secure necessary resources - all within a completion time frame of seven to 10 days
- Incorporate findings of research on effective rehabilitation programs and appropriate measures for community protection
Contents of ATI Plan
- Executive summary succinctly stating proposed elements of the plan
- Summary of Pre-Sentence Investigation (PSI) highlighting facts in narrative form
- Documentation of each proposal in executive summary
- Attachment of PSI report
